Out of our foursome I was the last to tee off. We were playing closest to the hole and skins. My partner missed the green to the right and the other two opponents missed just short. I had a little breeze behind me at 122yds. I pulled my pw dropped the ball on the tee and tee'd off without a tee. The flight was perfect, hit ten feet in front of the flag and bounced once, and rolled about three feet into the bottom of the hole. Everyone in the foursome watched the whole event and went ecstatic.
Obviously i won the greeny, but playing our game my opponent chipped in for a birdie and his partner got a bogie. Than my partner had a long putt came up short, and in order to win the hole outright, he had to make the putt. He was laying three and sunk a five foot putt for the win. Our group has been playing together for the better part of twenty years and they have seen me miss by inches and the ball would never go in. I have used Pro V1 for at least ten years and obviously will continue to.
What a great experience to have happen when i have waited forty years for my hole in one. I am sixty-one yrs young and hope to continue using pro v1 for a number of years in the future. Bad thing about a hole in one is the celebration afterward. Gets to be costly. Ha! Ha! Worth every penny! Thanks for making a great golf ball. Allan k. Kurtz
