Saturday, October 22nd 2016, I was playing a round of golf with my dear friends, Kendall, Eric & James at Hawks Ridge Golf Club in Ball Ground, GA. That Saturday afternoon, the most improbable thing happened. We started on the 10th hole because the Club Championship was going on that weekend. By the time we made the turn and got to the 4th hole, Par 5 560 yards - gold tees, I was worn out and on my way to shooting a 100. Problem with that scenario is, I'm a 7 handicap!!!! Either way, I stopped fighting with my driver and swung as smoothly as I possibly could (we've all heard that before)! When we got to my ball, the caddie said 231 to the stick....my math says the drive went 329!!! By far not normal for me. I first grabbed my 3-wood, then my hybrid and settled with my 4-iron....only because I was not hitting either of the two well that day. Needless to say, the ball found it's way into the cup......DOUBLE EAGLE aka ALBATROSS!!!! Go figure!!!! Hugh L. Nelson
