Hole in One on a Par 4 - Mark H.
By Mark H On 9 April 2015
Playing the 7th hole at Escena Golf Club in Palm Springs on Tuesday 4/7/2015 I hit a driver on the 301 yard par 4. The 7th hole is a great risk/reward type of short par 4 that is very well bunkered but can also reward a long straight tee shot with a chance to get very close to the green or even on it. The pin was up front that day and I hit my 915D3 driver which landed over the bunkers and just short of the green and started to run up. That was all we could see from the tee and as we approached the green I didn't see my ball so I grabbed my wedge and headed to the collection area just past the green thinking it was there. When I didn't see it my playing partner Joe said he was going to look in the hole and when he checked he started shouting"you made a hole in one on a par 4! I thought he was pulling my leg until he reached down and pulled my Pro V1x out of the hole!
What a great day!
