Lowest score ever with an ace to boot

Our threesome was having a great round of golf. We were the first group out on a beautiful spring morning in the Texas Hill Country. Everyone was playing well and the nickels we bet on sandies, birdies, and greenies were passing hands almost every hole.
Rolling up to the number 15 par three the wind was noticeably in our face. The pin was in the middle, but the tees were somewhat forward, so I only grabbed one extra club for the distance. My gap wedge struck my Titleist Pro V1 just right and went in a beautiful arc towards the green. As soon as I hit the ball everyone started commenting I was all over the pin. Sure enough, the ball hit 7 feet behind the pin, took one small bounce, and spun back towards the hole. Then it disappeared! We all looked at each other in disbelief! It was my first hole-in-one, and the first hole-in-one my dad has witnessed in his nearly 50 years of playing the game! Adding icing to the cake I ended up with my best ever score for a round of golf, a 75. It wasn't until my dad switched me to Pro V1's that I started breaking 80. Thanks dad, and thank you Titleist!
