We started on the back nine, 10 is a par 3 170. I hit a thin 7 iron to just under a foot from the cup. We were talking about how neither I nor my partner has had a hole in one.(we were in our men's league at the time)

He chips in for Eagle on 11 a par 5. the next hole he hits a great shot to about 5 feet. I get up and Pure an 8 iron.

He is saying "get in!" and it hits about 1 foot left and 6 inches behind the hole and spins back in for my first ACE.

He is jumping up and down and I was excited but also sad as my Dad and long time Golfing buddy had just passed away 2 months earlier and I could not share it with him.

So it was bittersweet but I am happy I got one and can now answer that question with a "yes I have had one"
