I was playing in a captain's choice golf scramble for a charity and was serving as our team's A player. One of the golf carts broke down on the 12th hole and we notified a maintenance worker who contacted the club pro to bring a new cart out on the 13th tee.

As the pro brought out the new cart and switched everyone's bags I yelled over that I will go ahead and hit to keep pace moving. The 13th is a slightly up hill par 3 170 yards. I hit my Titleist 981 7 iron good but not completely flush. I knew it was on the green and then the other three players hit. Two others hit good shots so we knew we had a putt at birdie.

As we pull up to the green I noticed two balls within 10 feet of the hole, one short of the green, but nothing past the hole. I walked up to the green thinking that someone might have gotten lucky and looked in the hole to see a ball. Closer inspection revealed it in fact was my Titleist NXT Tour which I retrieved and announced my first hole-in-one.
