Last Friday, Sept.2, was a beautiful golf day, a 9 or 10.
I was playing Hudson Hills in Ossining, NY, a fine Westchester Co. course. I hadn't played in 6, 7 weeks - leg & back issues, didn't expect a lot. Played with a good friend Ralph & 2 other gents, Marcello & Avi. I was playing OK when we teed off on #9, short 3-par from 130.
Teed the ball a little higher than normal, made a good swing with a 9-iron. The ball disappeared, the guys said it went in. When Marcello got to the green, he pointed down into the hole. There was my Titleist, Pro V1x #1.
It has taken me nearly 65 years for my 1st ace, but truthfully, I think I felt like 15. I continued to play well on the back 9, had the best round of the season.
I've played other balls, but I always come back to Titleist. It's the performance & consistency throughout the bag. It's the right ball for me. Bought a Titleist
910H hybrid this spring, a great club, best I've ever had.
Thanks.
