I was playing with my cousin and having a terrible round(just like the first hole in one I got in 1997). He normally plays with a group on Saturday, but since I was from out of town, we were playing together. We caught his group on #14. Since it was the two of us, they let us play through. They had already hit. My cousin had honors and hit his shot above the hole. I took an easy practice swing to try to get my game under control. I, then, stepped up to the ball, slowed my back swing, and did a great follow through. The ball started right of the hole, then drew in. It landed about 3-5 yards in front and started rolling to the hole. I thought it was going past so I bent down to pick up my tee. At that moment, all those guys started yelling, "it went in, it went in." I looked up, didn't see my ball, and started screaming. We caused such a commotion, the twosome following us started yelling too because they knew what had happened. One of the guys told me the second best feeling is walking up to the green with a putter, the best feeling is walking up to the green with nothing. The rest of the story: I was headed into the clubhouse to buy the obligatory round of drinks. When we got in there and sat down, another guy and his friend said to order whatever we wanted. Yep, he had also shot a hole-in-one that day on another hole.
