On weekend of July 30th 2011, myself and 4 of my friends were on a golf trip from 100 degree Bakersfield to Beautiful San Diego. We were playing Maderas Golf Club in Rancho Bernardo (wow what a layout) Hole number 7 was playing 190 yards from the white tees, my buddy Bill Weldon was first on tee box and hit a decent tee shot about 15 feet left of pin. Being the humble man he is, he went into a "Take that" rant that was second to none. I followed his shot with a 3 iron and a Titleist ProV that landed on the green right of the pin and rolled about 30 feet and fell in! The cheers, screams and laughter was amazing as we watched it go in!
What a great memory, that I will never forget! By the way, Bill missed his birdie putt and I have assured him we will never let him forget that!
