A perfect day - New Zealand

I am out visiting New Zealand this month Feb 20; family and a Tiki Tour doing some amazing things in a fantastic country. My sister wanted me to have a go at the Taupo Golf Hole in One challenge on Lake Taupo. So I had a bash. 30 balls - about 130 yards onto a pontoon into the Lake. This is a must challenge for all golfers visiting the area. A 9 iron in hand : no luck facing wind A 7 iron in hand : no luck so went for a 5 iron; peppered the pontoon - it was getting exciting. After ten balls dropped in my first Hole in One; amazing everyone cheering and clapping, as my sister is a golfer playing at Otaki I asked if she’d take up the challenge; no came back it’s your challenge and I wanted you to have a go. She was very proud and enjoyed the buzz. Another ten balls in the Lake; the crowd giving it the get in the hole chants it was fantastic. Three balls left and another close one but the operators weren’t sure; so we left with a great prize; photograph and me with some bragging rights. As we were enjoying a trip on Lake Taupo my sisters phone went, it was the operative from the golf ..... he explained the frogman had been on the pontoon and confirmed the other as a Hole in One...... Two in one Day. We had to go back! Another great prize, lots of photographs and people shaking my hand. I was a golfing god for an hour. My sister is a competitive golfer, I was living it Then my sister said, it’s not really a Hole in One as it’s not on a golf course.. as she had a Hole in One a year back, playing for her club team Otaki... and the chat commenced. So it’s up to you golfers out there.. Do you consider this as a official Hole in One? Also, thanks Lake Taupo Golf - you didn’t have to ring us about the second one; pure quality. If your visiting the area - give it a go.
