Well my first ever hole in one just happened to take place on my 36th birthday, I’ve no idea what the odds of that would be. I was on the 8th tee at my home course The Woll Golf Course in Ashkirk Scotland. It’s a 170 yard par 3 with a bunker short right and a big run off right side of the green. I hit a 5 iron left centre of the green with a 5 yard fade. I saw that the ball was safely on the green so turned away and started talking with my playing partner. Neither of us had noticed the ball was in the hole. It wasn’t until we started walking to the green and we couldn’t see my ball I started to think it had run off the back, I couldn’t find it there either so checked the hole and would you believe it Boom my first hole in one. Best birthday ever.
