17 years of playing golf, I was beginning to think this day would never come. On the 25th November my luck finally came in during a round in the Titleist Winter Series on the Ryder Cup Palmer Course at the K Club. I stepped onto the Par 3 14th, 169 yards and hit a 7 iron straight at the flag. The ball bounced 8 feet short and rolled gracefully into the cup for my first ever Hole in One. In an even stranger twist, 3 days previous I had picked up my new irons and my first ever round with them was the round at the K Club and of all holes to ace I managed to ace the one made famous during the Ryder Cup by Paul Caseys ace to finish out his match.
