Hi TT, So after 12 years of playing golf it was my time finally. The Hole-in-One! I was playing on the Burnside course at Carnoustie. Approaching the 5th hole saw the hole and I noticed some US memories - 17th par 3 at Sawgrass. I took my Bushnell and fired a 158 yard shot with breeze into from the right. Took my 9 iron out of the bag (just got the new Titleist 718 AP2). So this was my first 9 iron after assembling at St. Ives. As soon as I hitted I felt this great dead center sweepshot sound. Shhhhtttttt.. from then I saw a penetrating ball flight straight towards the flag. Next time I know.. I don't see the ball any more. My flight member said it's in! I was like.. no this can't be true. Brand new 9 iron and a Titleist Pro V1 with a few scratches. When approaching the green I didn't see my ball on the green but when I walked up towards the flag and saw my golfbal in the buttom and saw my ball mark (red-white-blue stripe above the Pro V1 number as Dutch flag) I was so happy. So my first hole-in-one since many many years and also with my new Titleist equipment. Driven by the best - played by the best. I've shared my hole-in-one experience and hopefully Titleist will ship me a bag tag. It would be a great memory to add. And Hey Titleist.. I will even pay for the shipping towards the Netherlands!
