It was Captains day at Alresford GC today and my team were all playing well apart from me with a score of 10 useless points on the front nine!! and not involved in the party at all!! I said to my playing partners Mike, Carol and Catherine that I always come good on the back nine, so stood over the ball at the par 3 tenth 135 yards to the flag with massive expectations and a nine iron in my hand and wind with in the face, I hit the perfect ball straight at the flag only to hear that awesome sound you only hear on Sky Sports Golf when the ball goes straight into the cup and rattles around the base of the flag!! Wasn’t convinced it was still in there until we got to the green and peered in!!!! So chuffed!! Fortunately for me the Captain made the decision that a healthy donation to his charity would be better than buying everyone in the bar a drink!! Thanks Skipper saved me a fortune!! All done with my favourite ball the Titelist Pro V1 !!
