Having terrible round. Must have lost at least 4 balls. Then it happened. Got out 9 iron for par 3. (123yards) Hit ball and lost sight of it in sun. Heard it hit metal flag pole and then there was a splash from the fish pond next to hole. I said to playing partner thats it i don't believe it thinking ball had rebounded into pond. I walked towards green and couldn't see ball. I walked behind playing partner so he could take his put. Has he got closer to hole said the ball had gone in. How bad my game was that day thought he was taking the micky. What a fantastic feeling seeing the ball in the hole.
