I was playing my second round of golf this year on a sunny day at my local golf club when I finally managed to record my first hole-in-one at Inverurie Golf Club, Scotland on Sunday 31st May on the par 3 15th hole using my 9-iron. The yardage was recorded as 162 yards on my playing partners rangefinder. It took one bounce and rolled straight into the Covid-19 plate- thankfully it stayed in! I am a medal golfer so it’s a slight disappointment that I wasn’t able to record this hole-in-one in a competitive competition due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite these tough times it was a great positive in amongst the negatives and it will definitely be a day to remember!
