On Wednesday September 4th 2019 I played Bright-Grand Golf Course in Des Moines, IA for the first time. My summer league had ended and my league partner and I ventured out to continue playing on a Wednesday evening. On the 4th hole, a 135 yd par 3, I hit a pitching wedge. We watched the ball, Titleist PRO V1, land on the front apron of the green. The ball then rolled directly at the hole, hit the pin, which we could hear, and dropped in the hole. I have been paying golf for 40 years and thought I would never have a hole in one. I was great to have my league partner along as well.
