Throughout 2019 I thought I would pay homage to Hal Sutton with a customary shout of “Be the right club, today!” every time I hit a good one. Well, for once I actually hit hit a good one... it was close, it had a chance but as it stayed above ground I dropped to the floor. 5 or 6 seconds passed before it vanished (Reminiscent of The Cat at Augusta 2005) as the group on the tee ahead ran down to the great shouting and cheering, I was back on my feet, arms in the air recreating Cantona vs Sunderland 96/97 - my first ace and time to just hold the flag.
