Played today at Gatley Golf Club in Stockport, had never played there before 3rd Hole, hit a 9 iron that never left the flag. My playing partners both said that's in, I said that's just what I was thinking Got up to the green and no sign of the ball, but did see that the hole appeared to be damaged. Walked up and my ball was in the bottom of the cup, it had literally pitched into the side of the cup and made quite a mess of the hole. I did repair the damage
