I came off the 15th green after losing a couple of shots thinking I must try & get them back some how in the next few holes. Walked to the 16th tee taking note of the pin position on the green which was in the back left corner, I like that position so when stood on the tee I got my yardage which was a perfect 6 iron distance for me & thought I like this! Feeling confident I put a perfect swing on my shot & watched it take the line I'd seen in my minds eye in the air, I looked it up & down & started thinking that's all over it to which one of my playing partners agreed with a "that's good real good it's in" One bounce 4 inches from the hole & in it went I stood there in amazement for a few seconds before joining my playing partners and the 4 ball behind us on the 15th green in cheering & celebrating....... my first Hole in One.
