We had our annual England v Scotland Competition at Royal Blackheath on Saturday 25th Jan. This was a foursomes matchplay event with 20 teams on each side. Our 8th hole was designated as the nearest the pin hole (one that I usually bogey). I used my 30 year-old Hippo 7 wood and to my amazement hit a perfect shot for my first ever hole in one after 37 years of trying (and won the nearest the pin comp - unfortunately not a car!)
