Hole in one
By JBardsley On 3 August 2018
1st August 2018, playing in a four ball at The Top Meadow Golf Club in Essex where we are all members.
We approached the 18th hole which is the signiture hole of the course, its a par 3, over a pond to a slight elevated green and a massive oak tree to the right hand side.
Its a hole where you never use the same club dependent on the wind but on the particular day, only a slight breeze, playing 129yards, i used a 9 iron, the pin was in the middle to the back of the green..
Once hit from the tee, the ball was flying towards the pin, it then pitchef the green and bounced in, finished with 5pts as we was playing stapleford and made me the winner on the day.
The Director of golf at the Top Meadow presented me with hole in one certificate which was a nice touch and of course i bought a round in gor the lads... over all great achievement..
