Hole In One

I am a member of Sunningdale Golf Club and was playing in a fourball match against another fourball. The first on the New Course designed by Harry Colt is a difficult par 4. 451 yards. I hit two good shots and was still 30 yards short. I took a 5 The second hole is a god par 3. 165 yards The hole was playing 168 with flag probably in the most difficult position. I hit a 5 iron well with a slight draw. It was always looking good but you cant see the bottom of the flag from the tee. We walked up to the green and there was my pitch mark 8 paces from the flag and we all thought that the ball had to be in the hole and sure enough it was. It was such a thrill being the only hole in one that i have had and thinking that although I have been very close before that at last i now have one. I am Captain of Sunningdale this year and I wonder if any other Captains have had one during their Captaincy.
