Hole in One, Number 4
By Peter W On 9 February 2019
When playing in the mid-week stableford, we were play skin £1 for each hole won £1 Birdies and £1 for the longest put. We were playing on our alternative greens because of the recent bad weather I shot a hole in one on the 6th, this was slightly shorter than the 142 yards on the card as we were playing from the winter mats but still about 125 yards. I used an png i500 8 iron as there was a bit of wind into our faces, this hit about 2' in front of the flag slightly to the left one bounce and straight in the hole, a great feeling. This was my 4th hole in one but still a great feeling although the best has to be the first hole in one when in a match play ko in 2007 when I got a half with a hole in one on a par 3, yes we both holed out, a very magic moment. Unfortunately I didn't go on to win the match.
