I played in a second round singles knock-out at KENDAL Golf Club this afternoon. Hit a great 7 iron up onto the par 3 3rd and when we got there I couldn’t see my ball. So we looked in the left hand rough in case I had hit it longer than I thought. No ball. Then we looked down the bank below the hole in case it had bounced right. No ball. Started feeling hard done by as I’d hit a great shot so checked the hole and there it was! Bit of a shock and I won the hole!
