I started playing in 1999, and now at 76 have my first ACE! Playing in a club match....pairs better ball, my shot on the 8th was seen to be...…."probably expensive!". My playing partner then hit a similar shot...."pretty good but maybe a bit long". Arriving at the (blind) green, there's one ball just beyond the hole...."hard luck, Jim, but it must have run over the hole." But hold on, that's my partner's ball, where's mine? The opposition, "Are you playing a Titleist 1...…….it's in the hole!"
