On the 18th Tee at the end of a very cold round and despite the numb fingers, I hit a good drive (Titleist ProV1) over the hill towards the winter green some 200+ yards away. Walking over the hill I could not see my ball but the team in front were waiting by the green. Thinking something was wrong I approached with anticipation until they yelled "Its in the Hole" and offered their congratulations. What a finish. Was second in the medal, but who cares. The ball is on show at home :-) Haven't stopped smiling since.
