I have come to golf later in life and it continues to be a great challenge to me. I recently joined the club from the Academy and decided to invest in a new trolley. Golf insurance followed and I noticed the information about Hole-in-one cover, thinking "well I'll never need that!" I then entered my first ever medal and low and behold on the 2nd hole I shot a clean hole-in-one. I saw the ball travel the whole 138 yards and drop parallel to the flag pole and land straight in the hole. I couldn't quite believe it. The fun and celebrations I have experienced since have truly felt like winning the lottery. I will never forget this moment and it has spurred me on to improve my handicap
