On our Saturday Medal at Gosforth Golf Club (The Bridal Path) I was playing quite well on the first 8 holes then a 9 on the ninth knocked me back. A bogey on 10 and I thought this has blown it. Our 11th a par3, 157yds has trees up both sides and a bunker covering from the centre front around to the right side. With the trees it is hard to judge the wind. A well struck Pro V1 with my 6 iron and the ball covered the flag all the way, one bounce and in the hole. A very happy golfer. After that it was hard to keep my mind on the game with player coming up to say well done.
