The day started at 4am. Bleary-eyed but excited to make a trip to Greece, my spirits dropped when the check-in assistant refused access to the flight because of a wrongly filled in COVID-19 passenger location form. To lick my wounds and calm down I went home and out for 9 holes of golf at Roehampton Club in London on a very sunny August day. The round was nothing out of the ordinary until the 201 yard par-3 where a sweetly-struck 4-iron nestled cosily in the hole. A small consolation on an otherwise terrible day!
