As moments on a golf course go this was probably the most exciting! I’m lucky to spend most of my time in Abu Dhabi and I play a 9 hole course every Thursday afternoon with my work mates. Yesterday, on the 4th hole which was playing 172 yards, I decided to hit my 7 iron (ap2). I struck it beautifully and with a little 5 yard draw it looked great in the air. The flag was just over a ridge at the back of the green but it pitched a yard or so right of the flag and I said to my playing partner I thought it was close. When we drove up to the green the top of the ball was just poking out above the lip as it had wedged itself between the cup and the flag. This was a wonderful moment and my words can’t really describe how happy I still am!
