My first time on a new society, new friends, not a new course though which settled any nerves. Playing well, came through 11 holes around 3 shots better than handicap. Then came to a very tight , tricky par 3 with a sloping green into a breeze. Measured 156 yds, I plucked a 7 iron out stood on the tee, hit a nice draw into the green, one bounce & in the ball popped!! Jumping up & down not knowing who to throw my arms around as they were all new faces, didn’t matter, they all did the same!! People on two tees either side witnessed it go in too , so happy, so proud, cant wait for that feeling again !
