Hi Guys My name is Brian Fischer, and I love my golf. I'm not great, but am currently playing off 10. I thought that I would share my story of how (after 30 years) I just made my first ever hole in one. I was playing in an open competition at Conwy golf course in North Wales with 3 friends as part of a short golfing break. The second hole is a 147 yard par 3, and I was first up in my group. The wind was blowing hard from directly behind us and club selection was tricky. A big wedge or a knock down 9-iron? I chose the 9, and hit a sweet shot onto the front of the green. As it rolled out straight at the hole, the shouts of 'go in' weren't just from me. The ball disappeared, and we went wild (and had to apologise to the group behind who were putting out on the first).
