Playing golf on what would have been my mums birthday. I had mixed emotions sad thinking mum was no longer with us but happy to be playing golf on a such a lovely day with some of my golfing friends. My game wasn’t going to well until the 13th hole which is a par3 - 156yds uphill surrounded by five bunkers. After hitting my 5 wood and managing to avoid all the bunkers I was convinced I’d gone through the green. You can’t see the green from the tee box but my playing partners thought it could have gone in the hole as the line looked good and when we got to the green that is exactly where it was! ️ In the hole - an amazing feeling. It took me just over twenty years to get my first hole in one. This one was for mum!
