I was playing the final day of the two day Hackers Amateur Golf Tour Tournament at Cypress Bend Golf Course in Gulf Shores AL on 4 August 2019. When I went to the tee of the #15, 137 yard par 3, there was a slight wind in my face. I placed my Titleist Pro V1 golf ball on the tee, selected my Taylor Made Rocket Balls 6 iron, and made a smooth swing. The ball flew toward the green, struck the pin on the fly and went into the hole. It was an amazing feeling to finally get an Ace after 47 years of golfing! I was paired with three other Hackers in the tournament that witnessed the event.
