My bother Billy and I are both members at Ratho Park Golf Club and look forward to playing in the medals on the Saturdays, we are quite competitive and enjoy the competition. On the 21/06/2014 we teed off and Billy went first and then Duncan and I went last. I used my three wood as the first is a par four and 257 yards from the medal tee, I seen the ball bounce in front of the green but the pin was at the back of the green and we did not see it go into the hole, we all walked down the fairway to be greeted by the lads waiting to play the second hole, they had seen the ball go into the hole. Sadly my brother was taken ill soon after and his kidneys failed but after long and exhaustive tests I was told that I was a match and have given my young brother one of my kidneys. We are now well on the road to recovery and have been told we can start to play golf again next year, great.
