Coming to the beautiful 14th hole on the last round of our annual winter golf break, I said to my mates as I teed up, “This would be a great place for my first hole in one.” I don’t know why I said it, but one swing of a 6 iron later the ball was in the air and arrowing in on the flag - one bounce and it dropped in! Mayhem on the tee, my first ace at age 52 after playing since I was a lad! What a crazy wonderful game this is!
