Hey TT, After playing the game for 38 years, I eventually had a hole in one, so many lip outs and balls hanging on the lip over the years. Standing on the 16th at Blyth Golf Club, I had just won the match against Kev Wilson and Phil Armstrong, we play £5 front, back & match plus £1 bits. Perfect conditions and it was playing 115 yards with a tight front pin tucked behind the bunker. Kev was on the green and Phil had put it in the trap, I pulled out my 50° SM8 wedge and proceeded to hit the green as there was another bit to play for. I hit it straight for the pin but you couldn’t see the bottom of the pin for the trap. Kev & Phil were in a buggy, so got there before me and started jumping up and down, I was like, please be in, please be in ! I got to the green and there she was, bright yellow and stuck in the hole, the pitch Mark was around 2 yards from the pin. What a feeling ! Loved getting in the club house and getting everyone a drink( standard bottle of whisky for the locals) Great craic with the members afterwards, here’s to the next one. I’ll never go back to a white ball, love the Yellow ProV1X. Thanks TT
