I scored my first hole in one during our annual father / son Challenge Cup. Each year where we play 4 rounds of match play with the winner receiving the trophy, I was defending after winning the previous year after four rounds in Scottsdale AZ. This year we stayed closer to home and play St. Andrews (Old), Gleneagles (Kings) , Royal Dornoch (Championship) and Castle Stuart. I scored a hole in one on the 3rd round of the cup at the 13th hole at Royal Dornoch to go 2 up. My father had played first and hit it close, I tee’d up my Pro V1, pulled the pitching wedge of my titleist ZM blades out the bag and struck it pure and it disappeared into the cup, one definitely to remember.
