Hi ,I’ve only recently heard about your hole in one stories and that you send out a badge , well my story is about my brother in law ..well we’re both seasonal golfers ie fair weather golfers and we only play when we can . Our handicap is anything between 20-25 so we’re poor amateurs but we stills love to go out and play no matter what our score is we just enjoy the game. We play at our local golf club Mowsbury in Bedford,Bedfordshire .On the day in question we were both probably having our best round of the year so far,weather was good too,the hole in question is the 17th 147 yards , the T is situated high upon a hill looking down onto the green,as amateurs the ideal shot is to play to the right and let the bank take the roll off the ball , well he played his shot to the right and we both watched as the ball rolled onto the green ,as we both said lovely shot but the ball kept rolling towards the hole at which point my brother in law said he could no longer see the ball to which I replied that it had gone in the hole ,well goosebumps and overjoyement is all I can say is how we both felt,in the years I been playing and hope to many more i never thought I’d se the day when I actually saw someone get a hole in one .Lets just say he was on high for a few days lol.
