I have just achieved the unexpected and got a Hole in one. This was in our club Texas scramble competition. The Nottinghamshire, in Nottingham, England. The 3rd hole on our signature course was playing approx 160yards to a front flag position. The weather was drizzling and windy. To add a little more pressure to the shot, the 2 persons to tee off before myself had dumped 1 in the reeds and the other one 30yards short and left. So out came the 7wood. I popped my Pro v1 on a red castle tee and kept the swing nice and smooth. Pitched on the front edge and released into the hole. Still don’t quite believe it now, except I have the bar bill to prove it. I Missed out on the Hugo boss H1 watch and membership to the elite club because it wasn’t a qualifying competition. Fingers crossed at 42 I might get a second one.
