Your never too old to have an 'ACE'
By John Richard K On 3 September 2018
I have been playing golf for 51 years mainly in the North East of England in and around Newcastle upon Tyne, but obviously visiting & playing 'other' courses.
This recent 'ACE' at Tynedale Golf Club (Hexham) where I am a member is now my fifth in total..not bad for a sprightly 69 year old.
I am a member of the Northumberland & Durham Pharmacists Golf Society, as well as being a long standing member of the Northumberland & Durham Golf Alliance where I partner my (Best man...I was married last October) PGA Golf Professional Martin Forster who I looked after from him being a junior at Hexham Golf Club.
We have been very successful as a 'pair' winning numerous cups/Pro-Ams', and I also caddy for Martin in the many 'Seniors' events he enters, so you will see from the attached photograph I'm definitely a 'TITLEIST' man what with my attire and the ProV's I always play. The only item of clothing I have never managed to acquire is a Large Titleist sweater...so here's hoping? I trust you enjoy my read and look forward to hearing from you in the not too distant future. Regards, J.R.Kendrick (Ritchie)
