    I play the Ap2 712 irons with the KBS C taper 120g shafts....I have found that my ball flight is much lower in my higher irons and I am actually losing distance...the shafts seem very heavy and I have to put much more effort in to get a good shot...I had the project x 6.0 flighted in my 710 AP2s...Does this make sense...if so could you point me in the direction of the correct standard shaft lengths for these irons if I were to switch to the PX 6.0

    Thanks for the post. 

    Yes, your observations do make sense. The C-taper is a heavier and lower launching shaft than the PX flighted, especially in the longer irons. However, before you go back to the 6.0's try to see a local fitter and hit some different combinations to find the exact one for your game.
