I tried the DT TruSoft this winter when the temps were in the high 30s to low 40s and they worked pretty well. Now that the temps here are back into the 50s/60/70s (depending on the day), I've gone back to the Pro V1x and have no issues with it's performance. Whatever Titleist ball you normally use will be okay when temps are in the 50s.

Go get fit KRobbins... they'll be able to let you know what degree driver best fits you and that 58 degree weather! 8.5* might be to hot, while 10.5 might be too chill.

I play the ProV1 in weather above 55 degrees. But I will also play the NXT Tour S in weather below 60 degrees. It seems to carry better in colder conditions in my opinion. I have played the DT Solo but prefer the NXT Tour S in colder weather.
It also still comes down to feel as well which is why I play the S model.

58 degrees for some of us is almost summer. My limit is around 40, and I play the same ball (-V1x). Some will use a softer ball (NXT-Tour-S or TruSoft) but I suspect not until it is under 50. As you add layers of clothing - that is an impact as well temperature on the ball. All balls will lose distance to the temperature. I usually play with 3 balls, rotating from inside clothing for each hole so at least my drive is with a warmer ball. Chemical hand warmers are not USGA approved, balls can't be artificially warmed.

When it's cooler, I like to play the new TruSoft, although I am pretty sure that my ProV1 performs just as good all the way down to 50 degrees. I just prefer the softer feel of the TruSoft when it's cold.

Do you mean ball? If so, I would play whatever you normally play and not make any adjustments...

A lot of factors there. I always stick to the ProV1x, but the NXT Tour might perform the same on the course with that given temperature.

You should always play the same ball in cold weather as you do normally.
There is basically no advantage to switching up balls from hot to cold.

You will be adjusting your game to the cold and different ball.

I agree. Doesn't matter.
The only time I will switch is when there is snow on the ground and risk of loss is great. Otherwise, it is ProV1 in all conditions.
