Not just a small world, but one full of amazing occurrences... Let me set the stage... At my home course (Vespra Hills) the 11th hole runs parallel with the 14th and they are separated by a small but wide stream. About three or four times per year I will see someone's ball go across from the 14th tee into the 11th fairway as it is not only a long shot but one that requires quite a draw. Today I was walking down the 11th fairway when I heard someone shout out and ask if I could toss them a ball which had found its way over that very stream... As I approached the ball to toss it over the stream I heard the individual say "Is that Darius ?" I did not immediately recognize the person due to poor eyesight and he introduced himself ad Michael ! We met each other at the 2024 TT Invitational at Fox Harb'r earlier this summer ! Wow !!! Let's keep in mind that there were only 36 TT members from across Canada at Fox Harb'r. Add to that - there were no other TT Members from Barrie. Then take into consideration that there are really only two holes on the course where such an instance could happen and the odds of the two of us passing each other at that very moment. WOW - It is indeed a small world. Mike - I hope you had a great round. Glad I could help you retrieve your Titleist !
