Just wanted to say HI to the TT Canada crew. How's everyone's season so far? As the season comes down to an end soon hopefully everyone has hit their goals etc

I quit my career job and took a job at a golf course as a mechanic (love it) and next year look forward to playing and practicing every day. It is so nice to go to a job where people are HAPPY to be at their job..... I set out to get to a single digit this year and it was hard work. Really have to work on chipping and putting etc went from 10.9 to a 8.0 and it is a real work in progress..... the grind never stops.

Getting properly fit and lessons for me were a HUGE confidence booster.... I am looking forward to going to a GT driver fitting to see if there are any gains compared to my TSR2 driver which I love....

Looking forward to gym work this winter (I am 52 and have a replaced hip) want a little more flexibility and strength, Lost 23 lbs this season as well.... and working at Modern golf on a few more ideas with my instructor.

Hopefully in the coming weeks, all the Canada TT guys and gals have some good games and plans for the 25 season for their best golf yet!!!

    Cheers everyone. Dan

Sounds like you are living your dream now Daniel ! Great job getting down to an 8 from a 10 ! For me - unfortunately due to a shoulder injury I have gone the other way from an 8 to a 10 :( Such is this game... I am hoping that I can change that next season !

It will come Darius. Need to be patient. I understand bad joints…. I had my left hip fully replaced in March 23

Awesome! I am looking forward to doing a GT fitting when it becomes available. I went TSI3 to TSR2 and the TSR is hard to beat but from what ive heard, the GT2 is pretty amazing. In mid season when warmer boy oh boy I was loving my driver. To current, it is the best driver ive ever it and my fairways went up but always looking for something more

    Great stuff and awesome

Things are starting to wind down here in Ontario and starting to think about the transition to indoor golf. Was a fantastic season with the TT trip to PGA Frisco as a definite highlight!

I think it's admirable and brave that you moved from your career job to be full-time around the golf game!

This is my first real 'off season'. I don't think I'll get any rounds in but I will be taking lessons in the fall/winter. In my first lesson, my coach gave me the TPI assessment. My results were humbling but it will be motivation for me to hit the gym and focus on stretching.

I want do improve my ball striking and do the GT2 some justice for when the next season starts.

First year back after 25 years raising 4 kids. Only playing the odd scramble in those years. This year was 2 times a week with the fellas and once a week with my wife. Fantastic, frustrating, enjoyable and humbling. At 60, feeling the same as I did as a junior player. Upgraded from my old DTR irons and getting the swing back…sort of. Hope to play more next year. Hoping all had just as much fun this year as I have.l
