  1. I managed to get 4 rounds in already at Pine Knot in Dorchester. For those who don't know, the course was built on sand and has ridiculous drainage. The greens have been cut and rolled already. It is in really good shape. Yesterday was 18 degrees, I played in shorts and sweater. Greens were fast and true, fairways were firm, ball was rolling. Unfortunately, the weather is going to turn and it might be a couple weeks before we are out again. The tee sheet was completely booked from 10am to 5pm. Only down side was the pace of play. It took 4.5 hours to play.

Our range opens tomorrow and the course is scheduled for April 1 weather permitting as always.

Nice, nothing like the roll out on firm fairways, enjoy the season.

We are still getting rid of the last snow remnants here. Will be another 3 weeks at least in the Ottawa Valley I think.

Much like in Ottawa - We still have a lot of snow here in Barrie with a bit more forecast for Saturday... I think it will take a while yet but I am used to an opening day closer to May 1.

    Lethbridge,

A couple of the courses here opened 2 weeks ago but closed in a couple of days. They have reopened now. Our driving range opens tomorrow planning for our course to open on April 1.
  8. Courses on the East end of Calgary started opening up. Out here to the west of the city will be closer to mid-April at best.
