    Greg,

The swing weight will just change the feel of the irons and can be personal preference as far as how heavy or light the player wants the irons to feel.

Hey Cameron, Quick question, I ordered my 714 AP2's at D3. Some of my irons in the set are real close to D4. Just curious if its normal for these iron sets to be almost a full sw point off from one another? I ordered DG TI shafts

    Stephen,

They should all be within a .5 swing weight point of each other, which is our tolerance within the set.  Give us a call at 1-888-TITLEIST if you would like us to take a look at the set.

I ordered the 714 AP2's with the DG TI X100 in the standard swing weight. I did not know you could order in a specific swing weight. They feel heavier than my 710 AP2 I upgraded from and I'm not sure if I like that. Do I have any options to make the swing weight lighter?

Hey Sean, You can build up the grip with tape, or if you don't want a thicker feel; put some lead tape at the butt end under the grip. taking 1/4 inch off the length would lower the SW as well. Sucks to burn a set of new grips, but that's what I did. You could also send them back to Titleist...

They should be within .5 swing weight points of each other.  They shouldn't be more.  Give us a call at 1-888-TITLEIST and we can discuss your options.
