  1. Hi just took delivery of a new ts3 driver which was ordered with the shaft shortened by. 75 on an inch. Should the clubs weight have been changed from standard? I thought that by shortening shaft swing weight would be effected and so more weight would need to be added and thus the swing weight would not be the standard weight.

  3. Shortening a shaft changes a lot. I would also ask about shaft flex, weight, trajectory, spin, etc.

    It it's a custom job, it's possible they allowed for the change in length and altered the swing weight already. The flex and torque are another matter altogether.
    When you shorten a shaft, it's going to naturally affect torque and stiffness. The stiffness will increase in a shortened shaft, and I may be incorrect, but I believe the torque will decrease.
