They have many many shafts available at the Titleist Thursday fittings I have attended.

Wausau Country Club should be able to work with the north Wisconsin Titleist rep to request a couple in advance. Washington County does a lot of fittings and may have a bigger selection. The Beloit Club is a Premier site for Wisconsin and has a broad selection short of the less common exotic shafts. Likely there is a premier site in the Minneapolis area, but I’m not familiar with any.

Granted, none of those options after Wausau are close to you. But having a fitter knowledgeable about a broad range of shafts available within an arm’s length may work better than guessing how one or two options shipped in might be “the one”.

Dan O, Scheels in Eau Claire ended up being the closest premier fitter to me. Unfortunately, they don't have the C-Taper S+ 1/2 long in their cart either. For some reason it seems that most Titleist fitting carts don't have longer X stiff shafts.
